《数据库原理》课程介绍
《数据库原理》是计算机科学与技术、软件工程、信息管理与信息系统专业一门专业主干课程。本课程的教学任务是针对大量数据管理操作,全面介绍数据库系统的基本概念,基本原理和基本技术。通过研究关系代数、关系演算、函数依赖、多值依赖,Armstrong公理,关系模式的分解,关系模式的规范化让学生建立扎实的关系数据库理论基础;结合目前信息系统建设的实际全面讲授关系数据库标准语言--SQL、关系数据库设计过程方法,使学生掌握现代信息系统中数据库开发技术;在数据库基本理论的基础上,讲授恢复技术、并发控制技术以及数据库安全性和完整性控制,使学生掌握数据库系统维护管理系统;对数据库技术的研究动态,如分布式数据库、数据挖掘等也作简略介绍,使学生简单了解目前数据库发展的前沿技术。在理论和实践上为学生的后续发展打下坚实基础。

Course Introduction to “Database Principle”
“Database Principle" is a major course in computer science & technology, software engineering, information management and information system. The teaching of this course is aimed at a large amount of data management operation, introduces the basic concept, principle and technology of database system. By studying the relational algebra, relational calculus, functional dependency, multi-valued dependency, Armstrong axiom, decomposition of relational schema, normalized relational schema to let the students establish a solid theoretical basis of relational database; Combined with the current information system construction ,the relational database standard language –SQL and relational database design method are taught comprehensively, in order to make the students master the modern information system in database development technology; On the basis of the basic theory of database, the database recovery technology, concurrent control technology and database security and integrity control are also taught so as to make the students master database system maintenance and management system; the research on the new development of database technology, such as distributed database as well as data mining are briefly introduced, enable the students to understand the advanced technology of database development for the purpose to lay a solid foundation on the theory and practice.
