On May 24th, Professor Sergei Leonovich of the Belarusian National Technical University visited our university. President Tan Xiusen and Vice President Zhang Kai met with the guests. Zhou Hongyan, Director of the Office of International Affairs, Hou Dongshuai, Dean of the School of Civil Engineering, and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.
Tan Xiusen thanked Professor Leonovich for his support and help over the years in academic research, joint application of scientific research projects, teaching of professional courses, and postgraduate guidance. He hoped that Professor Leonovich's visit could further deepen and expand cooperation areas.
Professor Leonovich expressed that he had had a very pleasant cooperation with our university for many years and would continue to be a promoter of exchanges and cooperation between the two universities in the future, making positive contributions to the development of the university and Shandong Province.
Professor Sergei Leonovich is the Dean and Professor of the School of Civil Engineering at the Belarusian National Technical University, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and a well-known international expert in the field of concrete materials. In June 2018, he was appointed as a part-time professor of the School of Civil Engineering at our university. During the period of cooperation with the university, Professor Leonovich actively carried out scientific research, curriculum teaching, and joint training of international students.
