On the morning of May 26, Qingdao University of Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CETC Ceyear Technologies Co., Ltd. The two sides will deepen cooperation in the field of electronic test and measurement.
Zou Pengwen, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of CETC Ceyear; Xiang Changbo, Deputy General Manager; Zhan Jian, Deputy Chief Engineer; Zhang Kai, Deputy Secretary of the University CPC Committee and President of QUT; Chen Shaojuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the University CPC Committee and Vice President; and Chen Wei, Member of the Standing Committee of the University CPC Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, attended the ceremony. Heads of relevant departments and schools from both sides also participated.

Zhang Kai introduced QUT’s educational features, disciplinary strengths and future development plans. He noted that CETC Ceyear, a leading enterprise in China’s electronic test and measurement industry, has long focused on high-end instrument R&D and frontier technological innovation. He expressed hope that the two sides would leverage regional synergy, deepen cooperation in talent exchange, joint research institutes, major project applications, core technology research, research commercialization and joint student training, and promote mutual development between QUT’s talent innovation circle and Ceyear’s industrial ecosystem.
Zou Pengwen welcomed the delegation. He said QUT has a solid foundation in research and talent cultivation, while CETC Ceyear has strong industrial experience, technology transfer capabilities and market application strengths. The two sides will integrate high-quality industry-university-research resources, focusing on joint talent training, faculty exchanges, key technology research and innovation platform development, so as to better connect university research with industrial application and achieve high-quality mutual development.
Participants from both sides held in-depth discussions on technology research, talent cultivation, platform building and research commercialization, and further aligned cooperation needs and implementation plans.
Chen Shaojuan and Xiang Changbo signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides, witnessed by Zhang Kai and Zou Pengwen.
Before the signing ceremony, Zhang Kai and his delegation visited the electronic instrument exhibition hall and the physical instrument showroom. They learned about the company’s technological achievements, product portfolio and research strengths in high-end instrument R&D, electronic information and artificial intelligence, gaining first-hand insight into its research foundation and industrial advantages.
