一、培养目标:
本专业培养德智体全面发展、具备比较扎实的马克思主义经济学理论基础，熟悉现代西方经济学理论，比较熟练地掌握现代经济分析方法，知识面较宽，具有向经济学相关领域扩展渗透的能力，能在教学和科研单位、综合经济管理部门、政策研究部门、金融机构和企事业单位从事教学研究、经济分析、预测、规划和经济管理工作的高级人才。
毕业生应获得以下几方面的知识和能力：
1、掌握马克思主义经济学、当代西方经济学的基本理论和分析方法；
2、掌握现代经济分析方法和计算机应用技能；
3、了解中国经济体制改革和经济发展动态；
4、熟悉党和国家的经济方针、政策、法律和法规；
5、具有一定的英语听、说、读、写、译能力；
6、了解中外经济学的学术发展动态及应用前景；
7、掌握中外经济学文献检索、资料查询的基本方法，具有初步的科学研究和实际工作能力。
二、修业年限和授予学位及毕业基本要求：
四年，经济学学士，毕业最低学分要求170学分。

1. Objectives:
Aim at training senior talents who are in all-round development, equipped with solid Marxist economic theory, familiar with modern western economic theories, know modern economic annalistic tools and a wide range of knowledge, capable of expanding to other economic-related fields, and will engaged in teaching and researching, economic analysis, forecasting, and programming, and economic management in teaching and scientific research institutions, comprehensive economic management departments, policy research agencies, financial institutions, public institutions, and enterprises.
Graduates are supposed to acquire the knowledge and abilities as follow:
1. Master the basic theories and methods of Marxist economics and modern western economics;
2. Master modern economic analysis methods and necessary computer skills;
3. Know about China’s economic reform and economic developments;
4. Familiar with the Party and country’s economic policies, guidelines, laws, and regulations;
5. Acquire the skills of English listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translating;
6. Know about the academic developments and prospects of economics;
7. Master the basic methods of documents retrieval and possess the preliminary scientific research and practical work abilities.
