I. Program Overview
The University offers a non-degree program of Chinese language courses for international students. The program is taught in English and Chinese,primarily designed for foreign students who need to pass the HSK exams and continue their Chinese degree programs, which mainly includes Chinese language courses and Chinese culture courses.
II.Applications
1. Qualification of Applicants:Non-Chinese citizens with basic English or Chinese language skills.
2. Application Time: Application is open for enrollment all year. For fall semester admission, applicants must submit required application materials before May 31st of the current year.

III.Scholarships
Our university offers the Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship and the Qingdao University of Technology Scholarship for language students.
Qingdao University of Technology Language Student Scholarship:9,000 RMB/year for accommodation fees.
Shandong Provincial Government Outstanding Student Scholarship:Awarded based on academic background and performancein school.
Shandong Provincial Government Friendship City Scholarship: Students apply for the scholarship from the Shandong Provincial Government and are awarded 30,000 RMB/year in the autumn semester of the second academic year.

VI. Accommodation
The university provides international student dormitories for international students.
VII.Admission
After reviewing and approving the documents, the university and college will organize an online interview. After the university and relevant government departments have reviewed and approved the documents,the JW/DQ form that can be used to apply for a study visa in China will be issued.
VIII. Registration
Specific registration date for language students will be notified by the university. Upon arrival in Qingdao, students must complete temporary residence registration at thelocalpolice station within 24 hours.Additionally,students must make an appointment for a medical check up in advance through the official WeChat account of the Qingdao International Travel Health Care Center. Holders of an X1 visa are required tocompletethe Residence Permit within 30 days of entering the country.
