Introduction of University of Hull

The University of Hull was founded in 1927 and is located in the city of Hull, known as the "2017 City of British Culture". It is the 14th oldest university in England and a renowned comprehensive research university in the UK. It ranked 401st in the 2024 Times Higher Education World University Rankings. The Faculty of Science and Engineering is the birthplace of industrialization of LCD display materials and research on bone density meters worldwide. The Internet Computing Center is the first academic center for network computing in the UK, and the Business School has obtained AACSB and AMBA certifications.

Program Introduction

The two universities adopt a "1+1+1" model to jointly cultivate graduate students majoring in advanced energy technology in architecture and industry. Graduate students will study at QUT in their first year, finish the required compulsory courses, apply to Hull University for about one year study for master’s degree, and then return to QUT to finish the left courses required by QUT master's degree. After meeting the requirements of both universities, students can obtain master’s degrees from QUT and University of Hull.

Admission

1. Educational Background Requirements: Obtain relevant undergraduate degrees in science and engineering.

2. Language Requirements: A total score of 6.5 in the IELTS, with a minimum score of 5.5 in each item, or an equivalent English proficiency level recognized by the University of Hull.

3. Costs: Tuition fees for master's students at QUT and tuition fees during the period at University of Hull in the UK.
