Introduction of University of Surrey
The University of Surrey, established in 1891, is a comprehensive research university with a nearly 140-year history. It currently ranks 244th in the 2024 QS World University Rankings and 252nd in the 2024 Times Higher Education World University Rankings. The university has more than 15,000 students, including 1,700 international students from 129 countries around the world. It has carried out multi-field cooperation with domestic universities such as Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and China Agricultural University. The School of Civil Engineering at the university has four research centers, including the Center for Environmental Health and Engineering, the Global Clean Air Research Center, the Infrastructure Systems Engineering Research Center, and the Geotechnical Research Center. It is highly reputed in the fields of sustainable development of environment and infrastructure, and green energy exploration. Program Introduction
1. "4+1" Program
Students who complete a 4-year undergraduate program at QUT can obtain a bachelor's degree from QUT; upon application to the University of Surrey's master's program and successful completion, they will receive a master's degree from the University of Surrey.
2. "3.5+0.5+1" Program
Students who complete 3.5 years of undergraduate study at QUT and meet the language and academic requirements set by the University of Surrey will have the opportunity to go to the University of Surrey to undertake the final semester of undergraduate courses as research placement students. Program students who complete all the prescribed courses at the University of Surrey and also meet the graduation requirements of QUT will be awarded a bachelor's degree from QUT. If they meet the entry requirements for the master's degree program at the University of Surrey, they may be admitted to the University of Surrey for postgraduate study, and upon completion, they will receive a master's degree from the University of Surrey.

Please refer to the latest language requirements published on the official website of the University of Surrey. The current requirements are an IELTS score of 6.0 or above for undergraduate studies (with no less than 5.5 in each item), and an IELTS score of 6.5 or above for postgraduate studies (with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and no less than 5.5 in other items).

The tuition fees of QUT during the undergraduate period and the tuition fees of University of Surrey during the master's period, with a certain amount of bench fees to be paid during the 0.5-year undergraduate study period in the UK. Outstanding students are eligible for certain scholarships during their master's studies in the UK.
