On September 28th,Mr.Brad Carson, President of University of Tulsa,and Ms.WANG Meng, Vice President of University of Tulsa came to QUT for an exchange. Vice PresidentProf.ZHANG Kai met with the two presidents.Ms.ZHOU Hongyan, Director of Office of International Affairs and Dean of College of International Education,Ms.SHI Hui,Vice Director of Office of International Affairs, and other relevant personnel attended the talks.
Firstly,Vice President Prof.ZHANG Kai said that the engineering discipline of University of Tulsa has distinct characteristics and strong international influence. He hopes that the two universities can take this meeting as an opportunity to engage in substantive cooperation in teacher exchange and studentdevelopment. Subsequently,Ms.ZHOU Hongyan introduced the international cooperation of QUT.
Afterwards,Mr.Brad Carson briefly introduced the overview,discipline settings, and international talent cultivation of University of Tulsa.Ms.WANG Meng gave a detailed introduction to various educational and training programs that University of Tulsa has long undertaken, including student summer camps,training programs on higher education management, university student affairs management, and teaching ability improvement. Subsequently,the two sides conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on the joint training of undergraduate and graduate students, bilingual training for full-time teachers, and various educational training for administrative personnel.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the campus accompanied by Ms.ZHOU Hongyan,Ms.SHI Hui, and others.
