On July 20th, Ms. Mia Ellsberry, Education Abroad Advisor, and Dr. Jolene Anne McCall from California State University, Long Beach, visited QUT. Prof. ZHOU Hongyan, Director of office of International Affairs and Dean of College of International Education, met with the guests.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the exchanges and cooperation in recent years and conducted in-depth discussions on subsequent cooperation related to some core courses and student internships.This visit further strengthened the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two universities and laid a foundation for further cooperation in the future.
California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), founded in 1949, is a public comprehensive university. Since 2020, CSULB and QUT have launched the "Long Beach-Qingdao Association Digital Pen Pal Program". In January 2024, a delegation of teachers and students from CSULB visited QUT to participate the winter camp activity.
